A competitive team sport: Water Polo
Two teams of seven players each compete against one another in the team sport of water polo. Each team attempts to score a goal by kicking the ball into the goal of the other team throughout each of the game's four quarters. At the conclusion of the game, the team with the most goals wins the match.

In water polo, is the pool's bottom touched?
Although players perform a movement known as the egg-beater, which is more effective than the standard action
of treading water, they are not allowed to contact the bottom of the pool and must tread water the entire time.
Players can move the ball by pushing it in front of them while swimming or by tossing it to a teammate.
In water polo, is it permitted to swim underwater?

the ball from an opponent, players are not allowed to push it underwater. They are also not allowed to shove or
grab an opponent unless they are also holding the ball.
Is water polo comparable to soccer?

over is the identical goal for both teams.
How tall is a typical water polo player?
The majority of collegiate water polo players are 6'0" and taller, with a wingspan that is more than their height,
therefore student-athletes should be aware of this. The advantages that come with this particular body type enable
athletes to block shots, steal the ball, shoot, and swim.
The size of water polo players is strange
Why? because lean muscle is less buoyant because it is heavier than water. Up to a certain extent, a modest
amount of interstitial fat (4–8 percent for males, depending on a number of parameters) will boost buoyancy.
In water polo, are you able to punch the ball?
The only players who are permitted to catch the ball with both hands are goalkeepers. They can use their fist to
punch the ball. In water polo, dribbling is the act of a player driving the ball in front of him while swimming
forward across the pool.
